Bruce is the husband of one; father of two; and grandfather of seven. He has been involved in the construction trades from age sixteen and is currently involved in all aspects of the construction efforts of BMDMI.
Laurie is the wife of one; mother of two; and grandmother of seven. She has a Master's Degree in Education and is in her second year of a doctoral studies. Laurie started, and runs, the Good Shepherd Christian Education Center.
We submitted to God's call and the missionary fields of Honduras and Nicaragua in June of 1995. The BMDMI Board of Directors gave us their approval July 23, 1995. By December '95 we were headed for a year long stay in Costa Rica at language school... that covered all of 1996. With that test of our faith and courage behind us we arrived as missionaries to Honduras in 1997. By God's grace, and for His glory, we are still serving today.
